First snow recorded in Wakkanai, Asahikawa and other Hokkaido locations

First snow was observed in Wakkanai, Asahikawa and other parts of Hokkaido on October 22. JMA's list also included Kitamiesashi and Kutchan. Wakkanai and Asahikawa were both three days later than their long-term averages.
