An underground third-floor platform under construction
TBS reported the first viewing of the future platform on the third underground level. Platforms are being built behind walls flanking the train path, with openings to serve as boarding entrances. Visitors saw a stage in a long construction process, rather than a finished station.
Station work does not determine the whole line's opening
Progress at one station alone does not establish the Shinagawa–Nagoya opening date. TBS reported that JR Central intended to announce the date during the year. Individual construction deadlines, completion and commercial opening are separate milestones; future travel and development plans need updated official information.
